La Mauricie National Park is a vast playground where you can practice a lot of outdoor activities: hiking, biking, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, etc. In addition to camping, the Park also offers 25 oTENTik tents for rental – accommodations halfway between a tent and a rustic cabin. They can accommodate up to five people (13 units open year-round at the Rivière-à-la-Pêche campground and 12 open only in the summer at the Mistagance campground). You’ll love this type of accommodation! A great alternative to learn about the joys of camping without too much hassle.
Each unit contains double and single beds, a table, chairs, dishes and what you need to wash them, an indoor wood burner and an outdoor fireplace and BBQ. Be aware, however, that there’re no toilets in the oTENTiks. These are located nearby, in a service building which also includes showers and a kitchen shelter.
