- In winter season, Melville Island Park has its small family ski resort with beautiful natural snow conditions. With its 75-metre mountain and the best ski rates in Quebec, the site is perfect for introducing children to the joys of winter. As a bonus: a splendid view of the Saint-Maurice River! To warm you up, there’s a large chalet inaugurated in 2019, which can accommodate nearly 125 people.
- For those who would like to learn about boardsports and ski, this is THE spot! They rent alpine skis and snowboards and they also offer lessons with certified instructors on their ski school slopes. For those who like to pedal, the resort even rents snow bikes (fatbikes)!
- The most popular activity in the resort to find your inner child is without a doubt the 4 sliding lanes on tubes. More than 300 tubes and a ski lift for the pleasure of the little ones, but also of the older ones!
- At the bottom of the mountain, the forest is home to 15 km of marked and well-maintained cross-country ski trails with hilly terrain linking small climbs and short descents.
