We always enjoy eating at Pacini, this well-known Italian restaurant across Quebec. A little secret between us, the best is in Shawi! Why? Our Pacini benefits from an incredible location in the heart of downtown, on the Promenade du Saint-Maurice, as well as a view of the unique Cité de l’énergie and the majestic river. Housed at the same address as the Hotel Énergie, there are many tourists there.
Whether it’s for breakfast, lunch or dinner, its popular all-you-can-eat Bread Bar is a must. Children especially enjoy toasting their own bread with flavored butter.
The breakfasts are excellent! We like that the pancakes are served with real maple syrup (and this, at no extra charge, in Quebec, we expect nothing less!). It’s also the ideal place for business lunch (ask about their private rooms) or a quick lunch!
For dinner, let yourself be tempted by the kale salad with its lemony vinaigrette, dried blueberries and pistachios. A delight! As a main course, pizzas are popular. Prosciutto and rocket as well as mushrooms and truffles make many people crave their pizzas. The choice of pasta is varied! Everyone finds something to their liking!
