It contains within its walls the last major project carried out by the painter Ozias Leduc who undertook this project in 1942 at the age of 77! A dominant figure in sacred art in Canada, nicknamed the Michelangelo of Quebec, Ozias devoted the last 13 years of his life to this fascinating work.

  • You can admire the fifteen large paintings of Ozias which have the particularity of integrating profane scenes alongside sacred subjects. We suggest the interactive audio guide visit including a tablet and headphones featuring Gabrielle Messier, Ozias Leduc’s assistant, who will show you around the place by revealing the secrets of this great painter.
