Le Manoir du Rocher

I want to know more!

  • This B&B, built in 1916, is impressive with its spacious bedrooms (soundproofed and air-conditioned), its cathedral ceiling and its stone walls. It’s just MAGNIFICENT! All rooms have been renovated and are decorated with the greatest fineness. This patrimonial home has lived through a lot of history! It was initially a bank, then, years later, has served as a municipal library.

  • Three rooms are available, including a beautiful “Caribbean Breeze” suite which includes a mezzanine, a living room, a private bathroom (with a jacuzzi tub and a shower) and a king size bed. For the families of 4, we suggest their condo (2-bedroom apartment), completely independent of the B&B, which you can rent, for a few days, with family or friends.

  • Don’t forget to go up to the 2nd floor to take a look at their superb outdoor terrace which offers a panoramic view of the Saint-Maurice River. Also within sight, the mysterious rocher de Grand-Mère, which once located on an islet in the middle of the river, was moved to dry land during the construction of the dam and hydroelectric power station in 1913. Are you curious to discover the legend connected to this rock?
