Located in the “Coeur villageois de Sainte-Flore“ in Shawinigan, this dairy farm offers to pick your own strawberries (several varieties depending on the season). Besides, this is the only place in Shawinigan to offer u-pick berries!
Bring a big bag, because in addition to their succulent strawberries, you can buy lots of other products, fruits and vegetables at their stand: blueberries, tomatoes, corn, onions, carrots, zucchini, tomatoes, beans and cucumbers depending on the varieties available.
Strawberry picking is a “must” that officially marks the start of the summer season (usually from June 24 to mid-July). It’s the perfect opportunity to enjoy the outdoors while stocking up on this juicy little red fruit bursting with flavor. Visit the mini farm, take the time to sit at the picnic tables, have fun in the playground and simply enjoy the countryside.
The kids will be proud to get to pick the strawberries themselves and they will enjoy eating one once in a while… Psst! Coming soon, you will have the opportunity to pick your own pumpkin in the Fall.
