Welcome from Meggie and Venelin! Your hosts will be happy to introduce you to their little paradise. Originally from Greece and Bulgary, they themselves fell in love with the region about ten years ago when they arrived in Quebec!
Their welcoming and warm house is located in the Coeur villageois de Saint-Jean-des-Piles, between hills and river, just 5k from the entrance of La Mauricie National Park! Meggie knows the place like the back of her hand and will give you very good advice to enjoy the park differently, whatever the season!
The cottage, both rustic and cozy, has 3 bedrooms and a living room & bedroom suite. There is also a lounge area in the common areas reserved for tourists in the gîte. The gîte’s restaurant will allow you to taste the authentic Mediterranean and Balkan cuisine. We particularly like the covered terrace at the back, ideal for a drink before supper. Perhaps you’ll be lucky enough to see a little four-legged visitor in the garden?
The central location of the cottage in the village makes it easy to go out for a walk, discover other restaurants nearby and take the opportunity to take a trip to the Parc des Piles, which is greatly appreciated by residents!
